Rodrigo Bresser-Pereira
CEO and founding partner of Bresser Asset Management. Portfolio manager responsible for the fund´s strategy and allocation. Formerly partner at Banco Matrix S.A. (1996–2001), being responsible for the equity funds until the bank’s dissolution and sale of the funds to Banco Itaú. Before that worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Co (1992-1996). MBA by University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (1992) with specialization in finance and a Masters degree in Economics by EASP / FGV-SP.
Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira
Bresser Asset Management partner since 2009. Former Minister of Finance (1987), Administration and State Reform (1995-98), former president of the Banespa Bank (1983) and vice-president of the Pão de Açúcar group (1963-1982), among other positions. Has an extensive professional career in the public and private sectors. In the academic area, he is the author of several books and reference works on Brazilian economy. Professor Emeritus of the Getulio Vargas Foundation. Doctor and professor of economics at the University of São Paulo.
Geraldo Mellone Junior
Has been with the company since 2003 as a equity and economic analyst. Became a partner in 2005. Previously, worked at the Chase Manhattan Bank, FGV’s Center for Finance Studies and also as a professor in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in finance and economics at several higher education institutions. Bachelor in Economics from FEA-USP (1992), Doctor (2004) and Master (1999) in Economics by EAESP / FGV-SP.
Diego Paternostro
Paulo H. Sawaya Neto
Partner of the company, equity analyst, covering the education, health and non-bank financials sectors. Started in the company in 2010 carrying out operational activities. Previously, worked at the Bank of Boston (1986), Continental Illinois of Chicago (1987-1989) and was financial director of the biotechnology company Embrabio (1990-2010). Bachelor in Business Administration from FGV (1985) and MBA in finance from Ibmec (2001).
Henry Kiyoshi Awagakubo
Partner of the company, responsible for Risk Control and Compliance. Started his career as an intern in 2005. Holds a bachelor degree in naval engineering by University of São Paulo- Politécnica (2008) and was a trainee in the Embraer/ITA program.
